Deep Diver Course Koh Chang – 40m Diving
The Deep Diver Course Koh Chang takes you beyond recreational depths down to 40 meters, opening up Thailand's most spectacular deep wrecks and reefs. Whether you're exploring the HTMS Chang wreck at 31 meters, the Koho Maru 5 at 42 meters, or preparing for technical diving, this specialty course builds the skills and confidence you need for safe deep diving in Koh Chang's pristine waters.
Our deep diver certification focuses on real-world deep diving scenarios in the Mu Koh Chang National Marine Park. You'll complete 2 to 4 training dives (depending on agency) to depths up to 40 meters, learning critical skills like gas management at depth, recognizing and managing nitrogen narcosis, planning deep dive profiles with proper safety stops, and understanding how depth affects your equipment, buoyancy, and bottom time. Each dive is carefully planned to gradually increase your depth exposure while building your comfort level in deeper water.
The Deep Diver specialty is also the essential prerequisite for the TDI Deco Procedures Course, making it your first step toward technical diving. At Chang Diving, our SDI, TDI, and PADI certified instructors ensure you learn proper deep diving techniques in small groups with maximum personal attention. Koh Chang offers ideal conditions for deep diving training with calm seas, excellent visibility (especially November-April), and multiple deep dive sites within easy boat access – from training reefs at 20-30m to the spectacular wrecks that make deep diving so rewarding.

Requirements
- Agency: SDI (18+) or PADI (18+)
- Prerequisite: AOWD (PADI) or Open Water + 10 logged dives (SDI)
